About Jamie
At the age of 15 and while still in high school, Jamie joined a band in Vermont, playing guitar and doing vocals.
She soon found herself drawn to the bass guitar and made the switch from six strings to four.
Eventually returning to Southern California in the early 80s, within days of her arrival, Jamie attended an open mic night at a local club and was then invited that night to join the country band “Johnny Hammer & Better Times.”
Jamie took them up on the offer and found herself performing in Arizona and California clubs five nights a week for the next several years.
While performing with Better Times, Jamie also had the honor of playing backup for country star Hank Thompson for a live radio broadcast.
She’s delighted to have become BarRoad Time's new bassist and looks forward to sharing the music.
