About Michael... (Zippy)
Michael began his singing at the age of 8, performing in numerous school choirs and ensembles. His capabilities were noticed early in life, as evidenced by the numerous vocal awards given him in school. Not only has he showcased his talent throughout Southern California, but he has also taken first place awards in nearly every talent competition he has entered.
He has performed at the Palamino in Hollywood, the Fandango in Montclair and the Branding Iron in San Bernadino among many others, while gaining much experience with the numerous bands he has been in.
His band in the 80’s through 95 in Southern California was Michael Robert and the Shadow Riders. He moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in early 96 and played as Michael Robert and the Shadow Riders with new members. Around 98 a new band was formed called Pirate. They quickly became the most popular bands in the area. They played together for 14 years in clubs and casinos throughout the tristate.
After a short time playing as a solo The Remnants were born regaining all the beautiful harmonies. Recently the name was changed to BarRoad Time.
